From time to time we offer a tip, idea, or suggestion to make life with your pets easier, healthier, more fun. You can browse previous pet care tips by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page. We used to update this page weekly. But frankly, after three years, we've already shared our good tips. So. Feel free to browse our earlier tips, and we will update this page as we think of something that's truly useful to you. For the moment, we'd like to share the tale of an anonymous good Samaritan and a suggestion that comes from the story. A client recently asked if we had any suggestions for helping his dog overcome anxiety. To illustrate, he told us that the dog was once so frightened by some unusual noise in the neighborhood that she bolted and was lost overnight. He went on to say that another dog's human had found her while walking his own dog late that night. Because he had an extra leash with him, he was able to easily take the lost dog home and reunite her with her human the next morning. The lesson for the rest of us: If you're the type who might do a spontaneous rescue of an animal in distress, having an extra leash, or cat carrier, close at hand could sure make the job easier.
